Very rare German WW1 combat knife with ski tools and metal scabbard. This combat knife is an upgraded version of the regular well-known WW1 combat knife, made especially for skiing use. The grip has 2 foldable tools: a flathead screwdriver and a spike. The two black wooden grip plates are held on by four steel rivets. The production of this knife is of very high quality. The blade is stamped with a skier man logo and the words “SKI-HEIL”. “Heil” means health and happiness, long life, and good luck. The scabbard is made from nickel silver and has a copper wire wrapped around it. The knife fits perfectly in the scabbard with no wiggle. The leather belt loop with snap button is in good condition and in working order. A rare knife with a fun history.
