Rare steel scabbard variant WW2 Police bayonet made by Clemen & Jung. This short bayonet has an aluminum hilt with stag horn grip plates and the police grip emblem in the middle. Two steel rivets hold the grip together. No loose parts. The nickel-plated steel blade is in its full size and is in very good condition. As you can see, this bayonet was not shortened like most police bayonets. This one was made after the order to shorten the bayonets and so was produced as a short one. The backside of the blade is stamped with the Clemen & Jung shield logo. The scabbard of the bayonet is made from steel with steel scabbard fittings. The bottom fitting is stamped with the number “13.” The scabbard has its original black paint. The scabbard screws are untouched. The bayonet is complete with a beautiful brown leather frog and a police bayonet portepee with silver and red wire.
