Very good condition HJ knife with unmarked blade. Nickel plated zinc hilt. Some zinc corrosion on the bottom of the hilt on the spine. Black Bakelite grip plates held on by two steel rivets. HJ grip emblem with no cracks. Some denting in the black enamel, which is probably a production defect as this is a very late war production knife. The grip emblem moves when touched. Steel blade with all its original cross grain on both sides. Some light brown corrosion marks. No markings on the blade. The leather buffer pad is in place. The incredible condition scabbard has all its original black paint still present. Stiff black leather belt loop with black snap button. The inside of the scabbard has two scabbard runners, still covered with mint condition white cloth. Hard to find a HJ knife still in this good of a condition.
