German WW2 dress bayonet with etched blade made by Alcoso. Nickel plated zinc hilt. Some of the zinc is showing true. Black bakkelite grip plates held on by two steel rivets. Nickel plated steel short style blade etched on the frontside with the textbook standard Alcoso etch “Fur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” meaning “in remembrance of my time in service”. High quality and deeply etched. The backside of the blade is stamped with the Alcoso logo. The leather buffer pad is in place. Original black painted steel scabbard. Important note! The scabbard hook sits loose so it can twist around. Attached to the scabbard is a black leather frog. Some of the stitching on the top is loose.
