Early WW1 trench knife made by Carl Eickhorn. Larger than usual. Heavy steel hilt with wooden grip plates, secured with three steel rivets. Clean, full-sized steel blade with light sharpening marks. The back of the blade is stamped with the Carl Eickhorn logo. Steel scabbard with original black paint and corrosion. Intact leather belt loop with working snap button marked with a star symbol. Total length: 28.5cm
